Flashback Friday πŸ“Έ ➡️ ~ Omega Semester Dump

If I had to pick one word for this semester, it would be eventful. Every corner of it was packed with activity; good, stressful, meaningful, and sometimes just plain overwhelming.

Academically, it was one of the most demanding semesters I’ve ever had. The workload seemed to never let up, and just when I thought I was catching my breath, another round of deadlines or expectations would hit. It was rough. But I guess that’s what growth looks like sometimes, uncomfortable, exhausting, but necessary.

But school isn’t all books. This semester also offered a whirlwind of experiences that pulled me in different directions — and I’m honestly grateful for most of them.

We had College Week, which filled campus with competitions, themed events, and this vibrant kind of school spirit that reminded everyone we’re more than our GPA. Shortly after that came the Trade Fair, where students turned into entrepreneurs, pitching everything from fashion to tech. I loved seeing how creative and driven everyone was. It was inspiring.

International Students Week was another standout. Amid all the fun and cultural exchange, I got to meet someone who still means a lot to me today. That week didn’t just introduce me to new traditions and perspectives, it quietly changed my life.

Then there was the Theater Group’s production of “The Shift.” I wasn’t part of the team, but I attended the presentation and it absolutely blew me away. It moved me enough that I wrote a whole blog post about it and if you read it, you’ll understand why it left such a lasting impression.

One of the most meaningful experiences was the Writers’ Conference. It wasn’t just a gathering of literary minds, where I met incredible people who encouraged me to start this blog. If there’s one thing I’m most grateful for this semester, it’s that push. This blog, this space to express myself, wouldn’t exist without those conversations.

Then there was TechFest. It brought together people passionate about tech from AI to cryptocurrency and the future of digital innovation. We had speakers share valuable insights on how to navigate a career in tech, and watching it all come together was one of my proudest moments this semester. I learned so much, not just from the guests, but from the energy of the entire event.

Roommate-wise, every semester, our school reshuffles us and assigns new sets of roommates. It’s kind of a protocol, a fresh start every few months. This time around... well... let’s just say I’m really looking forward to meeting my next roommates.

But honestly, the thing I’m most grateful for, above all the events and experiences, is the people. I made some truly amazing friends this semester, the kind who encourage you, challenge you, make you laugh when you need it, and help you feel a little more at home. I didn’t see that coming, but I’m so glad it did.

I wish I had more photos to share from all these memories, but I guess you'll just have to take my word for it. Photos aren't really my thing. πŸ˜…
