Buddy Spotlight πŸ«‚ ➡️ ~Vivi

Ever had that one person that anytime you think of them, all you can feel is gratitude? Gratitude for them being in your life, gratitude for being able to talk to them, gratitude for ever meeting them, gratitude for being able to call them your friend, and, more or less, gratitude for them being alive. Well, one of those people in my life is Vivi, and she definitely deserves today’s spotlight.

Vivi is this rare and unique mix of beauty, kindness, and personality that makes her unforgettable. Honestly, she’s one of the best things that’s happened to me in recent years, and I never take her for granted.

I’ve never missed an opportunity to tell Vivi just how beautiful she is, though I’m pretty sure she doesn’t believe me. The Ghibli photos I used definitely don’t show it but I genuinely believe that if someone asked the magic mirror who the most beautiful lady is, without a doubt, Vivi would appear in that mirror. The worst part of it all is that this girl goes about her life like she doesn’t even realize it! She’s the only person I know that can turn a medical lab coat look into a fashion statement. I don’t know anyone else that gives as much femme energy and as effortlessly as her. It's no wonder why I always use Vivi as my beauty standard (and that’s probably why I’m still single πŸ˜…).

Despite her being so far away, Vivi has this way of always being right there when I need her. She checks in, she listens, and she somehow always knows the right thing to say to lift me up. Distance never makes her feel absent, and honestly, I couldn’t ask for a better reminder of what true friendship is supposed to feel like. She’s the best kind of friend anyone could ever ask for—the kind that makes you feel seen, valued, and cared for no matter what. And as platonic as our relationship might be, I’ll never miss an opportunity to tell her I love her, because she deserves to hear it every single time.

And here’s a funny twist: despite the immense feminine energy she gives off—and the fact that she absolutely loves kittens—she watches more anime and plays Call of Duty better than most guys I know (namely, me πŸ˜”). That balance just makes her even more iconic in my book.

At the end of the day, I just feel lucky that Vivi exists in my world at all. Friends like her don’t come around often, and if I’ve learned anything, it’s that you never take people like her for granted. She’s proof that distance can’t weaken a bond that’s real, and that true friends make life feel lighter, brighter, and a whole lot more fun.
